The Final Hours
almost 4 years ago – Tue, May 12, 2020 at 03:51:19 AM

Six and one-half hours from now, the bells will toll for Richter: The Rotting City.

You have helped us create the book, create a second book, add two adventures, and create a pool of community copies on Itch.io! And, of course, we're asking for more :)

We're a couple hundred short of the $5,000 mark for unlocking Richter: The Porphyry Archive.

We're unlocking it anyway, partly because we think we'll hit the mark, and partly because we have some really cool ideas and we have to share them with you.

If you want to increase your pledge to include Richter: The Porphyry Archive, it's $12 for the PDF ($5 if you're screwed by capitalism), $20 for the softcover zine, and $40 for the hardcover book. As an extra "thank you" to anyone who increases their pledge for it now, we will ship them at no additional cost!

We'll see you tonight for the wrap party!

Pre-Order update, Another ZineQuest
about 4 years ago – Tue, Mar 10, 2020 at 08:05:17 AM

Happy Friday, Richterans!

As a reminder, we have pre-orders open for Richter: The Rotting City on our Itch.so site. If you know someone who should have Richter in their lives, please let them know! We're accepting pre-orders through March 10th. If you are a backer and would like to upgrade from pdf to zine or to book, please send us a message by then and we can make that change for you.

We have another #ZineQuest project running that ends on Monday the 9th, "So You've Been Thrown Down A Well". It's an adventure and collection of backgrounds for Troika!. If you enjoy that system, or just happen to be a fan of madcap and strange adventures, please do check it out here.

Other than that, we're working hard on finishing everything up. Have a great weekend, friends!

Oh... here's a little something from the book. Isn't Madeleine's art fantastic?

Pre-Orders now available for Richter: The Rotting City
about 4 years ago – Wed, Feb 26, 2020 at 05:19:34 PM

Hello Richterans!

We wanted to give you an update to let you know that Pre-Orders of the book Richter: The Rotting City are now available on our itch.io page:

https://byemberandash.itch.io/richter-the-rotting-city

We are accepting pre-orders now through March 10th and we will not be able to guarantee hardcover books will be available after the pre-order window. So if you know anyone who would like to join you in Richter, please let them know!

The pre-orders for Richter: Bone & Ash and Richter: The Porphyry Archive will be updated a bit later.

Backers - unfortunately, I can't quite setup the sale on Itch.io quite the way I would need to, but if any of you want to upgrade your pledge from digital to zine or to hardcover, send us a message and we can work out the details for you specifically. Feel free to include requests about adding additional books or changing pledges for Bone & Ash and The Porphyry Archive as well - it's basically all worked out by hand for you all, so we can take care of it.

We hope you're all enjoying the end of ZineQuest! There are still a number of great projects running, and we have a second one starting on Thursday: "So You've Been Thrown Down A Well" for Troika! It's such a different setting and not grim and terrible. You can follow it here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/byemberandash/so-youve-been-thrown-down-a-well-a-zinequest-troikazine

More to come later! <3

We're gonna shut up for a bit now
about 4 years ago – Fri, Feb 21, 2020 at 04:41:20 PM

We did it!

Kickstarter is going to be doing money stuff for a couple of weeks. We're working hard on getting the content just the way we want it, getting the rest of the art lined up, doing some editing, and getting it ready. For now, go check out all the other amazing ZineQuest projects.

You have our thanks and our gratitude and we'll be back in a week or two and let you know how things are progressing.
